Saturday - upon informing some friends of a friend that I was from Canada, their reply "oh you're a sister of Celine Dion!" and then them laughing, now was it at or with me?
Going to Gugulethu Township to Mzoli's Place for drinks and a braai - the set up - byob (or buy more pricey stuff there), go in, pick your meat from the butcher, they weigh it, season it, you pay, take it out back and they cook it. Pick it up and enjoy! The place was happening. It was tops for sure.

Sunday - heading to Hout Bay with a friend or two. Escaping the stifling heat of the city and wandering along the ocean.
