Rusks

I was recently reminded that there is a good chance most of you reading my blog don't know what a rusk is. Here is a picture. Best dipped in coffee or tea and really good when you splurge and get the ones from Woolworths or rather, get your friend to splurge for you. If you happen to be in the Toronto area, I know a place where you can get 5 boxes of expired rusks for the price of 1. I wouldn't do it though...

    Especially since the rusk is second only to the Twinkie in terms of shelf life!

    Um, so am I right in thinking a 'rusk' is almost identical to biscotti?

    Clearly I'm among those in your following who aren't in the know or haven't frequented Woolworth's in a while.
