Hmmm, well I've been missing South Africa a lot of late, Cape Town really. Even though I know the weather is cool and rainy there right now and it's warm and sunny here, I just miss it. Luckily for me Afrofest is on in TO this weekend and it's free! I'm going to go check out some of the live music and great food (sadly, not free) and just soak up all the Africa vibes I can. I've also been asked to help out at a booth for Song for Africa at the Warped (Edgefest?) tour tomorrow night. Could be another good option to feel closer to l'Afrique.
In the meantime, I'm listening to Femi Kuti and going to my old work to get some free delicious roti! Can't wait.
