Goo day mate, Sydney reminds me a lot of Vancouver. Without the mountains though. I used to think Cape Town and Van were a like but nope, it's Sydney. The ocean and the buildings and the hustle and bustle. It's nice here. I spent the morning asleep. Slept for 12 hours catching up on lost sleep from my flights. I needed it. I'm feeling much better. Then I went for a long walk and made it to the free Royal Botanical Gardens. Very nice. I climbed the steps of the Opera House and looked out over the water. I had an almond croissant and a cappuccino. I love coffee, did you know that about me? I think an espresso maker is in my future. I'll need it to get through school next year. Not sure you all knew but I am going back to school. Wish me luck...
What else? 12 hours of sleep in a hostel is impressive. I fly to Adelaide tomorrow so I've got this evening to sort out and a little time tomorrow morning to do a thing or two. I've started taking some photos again so hopefully I'll be able to post some soon.
It's a lovely day here. Warm and sunny but not too hot. The forecast was for 20 degrees with a high of 25. Pretty awesome. Kings of Leon is playing - snobmusic, apparently these guys are everywhere. They were big in SA, as well.
Oh and the free sausage at the barbie was alright. No boerwors roll. And I never had warthog ribs. Apparently they're hard to find and kind of fatty. I'm pleased with my Royale burgers. Dang, I wonder what I should have for dinner?
I was going to buy a nectarine from a fruit stand on the street and the guy said 'take the plum, they're better'. Good thing I like plums, it was delicious.

Sydney is great, but really you just made me want a Royale burger and a boerwors roll really badly. Good luck back at school ... what are you going for?
